HIV/AIDS AND CARE AND COMPASSION

The leaders in Nambia are currently being trained in CHE so they can incorporate those principals in the existing ministry. The community development currently targets orphans and vulnerable children, women and windows, those with HIV/AIDS, the elderly and the disabled.

ORPHAN CARE

The Dien family have a long history of helping orphans in their community.  The lead an orphanage from 2001 to 2008 and cared for over 40 orphans at a time housing hundreds over the years that they lead the Ark children’s home.  Their current home, which is on the farm plot very near to the children’s home continually houses several children from the community.

GARDEN PROJECT

In 2004 George Dien had a vision to create a sustainable model to self fund the children’s home they were running.  They used a small piece of land in the children’s home and created a garden.  They grew many types of vegetables which they then used in their care and compassion ministry which helped feed hundreds of children and families in the community.  These were families with HIV/AIDs and other effects of deep poverty that could not fully sustain their family.  For many of these children it was the only meal they ate each week.

By donating, you will help us create a sustainable and transformational ministry in Rehoboth Namibia. Your donation will be used to support the Dien family to create a CHE program, add a second business to the garden project to make it more sustainable, train many people in job and life skills, minister to those living in extreme poverty and bring the gospel to the people of Namibia.
